Often I awoke in the AM and it felt like I had been working out all night with both legs, but now it's basically feeling like I did it double time with just my left leg and the right is fine.

I would also get this pulling type pain sensation, both on the outsides of my left calf and sometimes my left forearm.

I had a lot of spasms, particular in the left limbs that involved mild pain. A lot of activities or use with the muscles of the left calf or left arm would initiate that same feeling, like if I keep using this muscle it's going to cramp. I do have twitches in other places that my left calf, but the focal-ness of the twitches, coupled with the other symptoms, are really driving my anxiety through the roof.Ī couple weeks into this after it first started, I used to wake up and my calves would feel like they would cramp if I stretched them. Really, all of my symptoms seem like 90% on my left in total, including feelings of weakness and low-grade pain in my left neck, shoulder and forearm, with feelings of weakness in my hand, specifically the outer two fingers. My twitching now seems pretty focused on my left calf. I've experienced a lot of sensations with this. But 2 weeks ago I called and asked to schedule as I have a massive amount of anxiety with my symptoms that have evolved from my initial visit.įast forward some. offered the test originally to help alleviate anxiety, and I initially turned it down. I have an Emg scheduled for May which was first available. Saw a neuro approximately a week after, clinical exam was fine. Later in the week on that Friday I awoke with body wide fasciculations. I awoke several days earlier in the week with charlie horse cramps in both calves, but more the left. This all started about 6 weeks ago for me (39/M/350lb).
